I’ve set us up a new channel on the indymedia server called #northern. Anyone need any help using irc send a message in this discussion and we’ll get everyone set up? Basically, this means we’ll be able to chat securely in real time (no email delays) if there’s anything big and exciting going on and generally chew the cud.
What do people think about advertising this room to the mailing lists? we have the means to kick people out/ban them if they are disruptive so I can’t myself imagine it to be too much of a problem.
