C.H.I.P can be used as mesh nodes

C.H.I.P is a $9 Computer which is runs a operating system based on Debian. It comes with built-in Wifi and Bluetooth. More than just a mesh node a lot of other things can also be used to run on it like DNS, DHCP, etc., Here is the first impression on C.H.I.P device https://spin.atomicobject.com/2016/03/27/chip-computer-review/

Since Ad-hoc support is the key feature for setting up mesh network, I have posted a question in C.H.I.P’s community platform that you can find here bbs.nextthing.co/t/does-c-h-i-ps-wirele...

Now that we have mesh initiative at Pondicherry, Chennai, Swecha (at Andhra) and I also see some initiatives going on in Hillhacks mailing list, we can try to give a call to other communities, customize the design of C.H.I.P and find a fabricator in India before going for mass production.

We can also use some crowdsourcing platform.
