Configuring iChat¶
(1) iChat menu > Preferences
(2) Click the plus icon to add a new account
(3) Fill in these values
- Account Type: Jabber
- Account Name: Your riseup email address.
- Password: Your riseup password.
- Leave the default server options.
For example:
IMPORTANT: if when you are connecting, you get an error asking you if you want to send your password unencrypted, do not proceed!
