CHC Accountability Statement
The CHC Brigade has created a Safe Space Policy which hopes to create a space that is safe and productive for all members, volunteers and participants. We expect all CHC sponsored events and participants to adhere to this policy. We hope that all members and participants will work to hold each other accountable to our policies. If at anytime you feel a serious violation of the CHC Safe Space Policy has occurred and would like help in addressing the violation or concern, we have created a CHC Brigade Accountability Council to help with this.
The CHC Brigade Accountability Council consists of trusted adult teen allies that the members have agreed upon. When a concern or violation has been brought to the council’s attention, 2 or more adult teen allies will work with the injured person(s) to address the complaints against the perpetrator(s) in order to achieve a satisfactory resolution. The CHC Accountability Council will then enforce the final decision of the group.
