Bavarian SI collective / ya-media: is lending us equipment it will travel with Luca (who is from brabbelbox and will together with another person be responsible for the electricity at the camp.)

Reimbursement travel costs

The reimbursement part is different for us. we organize this ourselves and have a budget together with interprise. Me and Makan-jahe will collect your tickets and arrange that you get your travel reimbursed, but be aware that we have a limited amount for interpreters and technicians, so please keep the costs low and book as soon as possible. Did you book already? please send your receipts to us in digital form (can be via signal or email). oladay[at]riseup.net

travel information and location

Also we would like to know when you arrive and leave and if you need a shuttle to pick you up. We can organize the shuttle ourselves if you inform us in time and there is public transport up to 4km from the location.

Info given by TSC25-orga:
Arrival and departure / Arrivée et départ

The camp will take place at the ZAD, at this location: 47.347532, -1.733297. Public transportation is not available to this location. Since it is impossible for us to organize a shuttle for 700 people, it is a great help if people organize the journey to the ZAD themselves and walk the last distance. the best option is to take the following bus connections:

Bus Aléop 320: until stop Vigneux de Bretagne – Église (about 4 km walk along a road) Bus Aléop 371: until stop Vigneux de Bretagne – la Bossière (about 4 km walk on smaller roads, but only feasible with good maps or GPS) Bus Aléop 371: until stop Vigneux de Bretagne – Bois Rignoux (mix of main road then small road or path)

needs & logistics

  • needs: there will be 4 circus tents, in all tents there might be need for EN, FR, AR, FArsi, and 1 or 2 languages more (spanish/italian/german)
  • paticipants: 700 people are now registered.
  • location: ZAD AmbaZADa, Notre-Dame-des-Landes
  • there will be electricity with ground, we will get an update and contact on the spot, maybe in morning we switch things on.
  • We need to built up and break down every day
  • there will be probably a car with lock on the terrain where we can store our equipment overnight.
  • there will be a tent for interprise/interpretation info point.
  • we will work together with interprise (who is taking on the coordination of interpreters and interpretation needs). We will have online meetings with them before the event to see how we will work together and get more updates on needs.
  • we will be able to use speakers from the zad and a rennes sound equipment collective (please see email from at end of this message for an update about speakers) . This needs a technician to set it and break it down up every morning in all the tents (it can be nice if a second person can help carrying). We might get a key to access this equipment daily. We will get an update and contact when arriving.
  • we will need to bring 4 mixing tables
  • we need to bring also spiders for possible loose more spontaneous workshops in the “village” (the area with diverse stands of the organizations participating). We can discuss with interprise if these can be set up on the spot by interprise or interpreters. unsure exactly how many spiders we will be needing, are waiting to hear back from interprise about it. so far we have 5 from alo&salam, 3 from toni.
  • we will put boxes with radios at each tent, there is a poster we could put at distribution tables with “please bring back radios, explaining there importance to bla/other SI collectives”. We do also have to insist and annouce to give them back several times at last days…
  • accomodation for SI technicians is tents, we can ask for a seperate field with SI technicians and interprise and interpreters (more quiet and further away), what do technicians need??? if there is need for other accomodation we need to communicate about it.
  • there is probably a coordination person on the spot, linking program group, interprise and SI technicians. We could also suggest to create a signal group for internal communication.
  • there will be food, we just go get it (when registered). No tickets needed.
  • there is a parking a bit further away, but to unload and load we can go to ambaZADa
  • we need to register, tell them we come with SI (so we get food and accommodation and don’t pay) (10 people registered already)
  • travel costs can be reimbursed, communicate to coordinators of the SI team, which are oladayo & makan jahe

sound equipment
Hey
attached you find a list of sound stuff we will have at the tsc for the different circus tents for the conferences. Out of this we also need to be able to build sth for concerts and movie or theater in the evening. Would you want to get in touch with Kashef who is the cultural prpogram coordinator or should I send the list to Kashef so he can choose things and then you meet up with him once you all arrived to think about how to organise, eg for keys where the stuff is locked? Or anything else I don’t think of?

Also, the real shitty thing is that the sound system of MutMat is broken for now. They are not sure they will be able to fix it till august. I will ask which parts exactly of this list are concerned, I guess the mixing tables work, but who knows. But maybe you can start planning with this…

greetings from the heatwave 🙂
