Update on 22nd November:

Logistical Support
Liaison: wolvesjim@hotmail.com
Crabgrass: we.riseup.net/ccinternational+logisticalsupport

Formed right at the end of the manchester gathering off the back of an idea from one of the groups and has since been referred to as process, comms, logistics and action support as far as I know.

For background to the group you can see Tom’s previous page at we.riseup.net/climatecampactionsupport

I thought the best suggestion has been to mirror the camps meeting process i.e., I believe, spokes from, in this case, each working group would meet up and share information which could then be disseminated back to the members of that group…correct me if I’m wrong please. That could also be tied in with an exchange of spokes with the CJA meeting process, therefore allowing us to know what they’re doing and also contribute to what they or other groups need. Now that it seems a lot of us will be accomodated together it seems a pretty viable premise that at some point, at least once we’ll have some sort of group hand-waggle and its probably not unfeasible to replicate the camp’s 9 o’clock morning meeting structure..? With this in mind I thought it would be prevelant to get answers to the following questions:

• Is there enough space to have a meeting at our accomodation venue? If not is there somewhere nearby?
• Where and when are CJA planning to hold their meetings and could we agree with them to have a spoke there? Would they be interested in having a spoke at our meetings?
• What are each group likely to need to communicate to campers throughout the conference?
• Can each group commit to providing a spoke at a morning meeting at the camp accomodation?
• What have group’s planned in terms of communications while in CPH (phones, laptops etc.)? What tips can people already there offer?
• What would people hope to find out at a morning meeting?

So if anyone out there can answer any of these questions or knows the contact details of someone who can or has further suggestions or improvements upon my ideas please contribute
