One needs tools to handle data and work flow to create something personal or for social use.
As we love and use free software it will be great to catalog the tools which the GIS – free software community has created so far.
In the process we may also find that there are tools necessary in some niche fields which may even have economic incentives. That is where we can able to create the impetus to innovate new software too !.
