Temporary banner for IMC Northern

We need to get some way of getting some creative types doing some logo’s and banners for us so we can get them into the new site. Banner wise, this is a good size as a starting point as it renders well at different resolutions whilst keeping all the peripheral bits and bobs in the right place.

Can we try and open it up to the list or something, it would be nice if we can have something new ready for the launch of the test site. Think typically northern without thinking of flat caps, whippets, pigeon racing or imperialism. It’s harder than it sounds :-)

Could we have a collage dynamically generated from photos on the site? Like webcollage does? Just a thought…

that’s a really good idea. I could definitely write the code that would get the pictures to display either randomly or newest first, only problem would be overlaying a mask to make it readable with our imc name. Haven’t a clue how i would do that without sending it to the shell which would chew up a huge amount of processor time and slow the site down. If anyone has any ideas.
